Like many brides, Beth had trouble deciding on and sticking to one solid theme for her and Sean's speical day held at Lanyon Homestead in Canberra. 'Eventually I just gave up! I chose things I loved, and somehow they all came togther' she says lightheartedly.
'So when people ask me the theme, my answer is usually something along the lines of 'woodsey, natural , white , Australian landscape and little touches of gold' . We wanted it to be beautiful, but laid back, and for people to just enjoy the celebration with us'.
Knowing their brief, the ever talented Laurel & Lace arranged wooden trestle tables and benches, native flower arrangments and a barbeque style buffet. Meanwhile photographer Lauren Campbell worked her magic behind the lens, capturing every moment and detail of their day including their From The Owl cake topper and Beth's Karen Willis Holmes gown.
'I absolutely loved how my dress fused both the classic, romantic and the modern all in one look. The KAREN WILLIS HOLMES team looked after me every step of the way, and I could not have loved my dress more than I did - I think I'm going to try and find excuses to wear it again! '
