Danica and Andy wed in the beautiful & picturesque location of Bushbank, Kiama Heights in New South Wales. The couple who have been together for 9 years chose simplicity with strapping punches of magentas, primrose yellows and violets throughout for their wedding. The guests picked up the memo about the colour too, arriving in striking shades that stood out. This helped pull together all of the colours of the wedding captured by the very talented David Moore, as well as creating a fun, vibrant and playful vibe which complimented the stunning couple perfectly.
Danica wore the Zoe/Mimi combination from the D.Y.G collection- an elegant, simple slim fitting silhouette with a plunging neckline and delicate spaghetti straps. The bodice cinches in at the waist before falling into an elegant slim fitting skirt with a split up the middle, all beautifully draped in a heavy twill.

Location? Bushbank - Kiama Heights
What made you choose there? We wanted a mix of relaxed/ coastal but still for it to feel like a wedding and Bushbank did that for us.
How did you find it? On the internet.
How was the weather on the day? The day started off grey but as soon as the ceremony started the sun came out and it was beautiful the rest of the day.
Was there a reason you decided to get married on this date? It was the same date as my grandparents!! It was their 59th wedding anniversary the date we married, so we will be able to celebrate our 1st anniversary with their 60th!
The Wedding Details
Theme? Bright! Kept everything simple and natural/ rustic. I had lots of bright flowers though :)
Where did you draw your inspiration/ideas from? Pinterest mainly!
Were any aspects of your wedding D.I.Y? Most of it was D.I.Y - Andy is very handy and he made our table numbers and seating chart. We just had wooden discs on the table and sprayed jars gold as our vases for flowers.

How many gowns did you try? Only two!! My first pick was the one I ended up choosing.
Where did you purchase your gown from (which store or stockist)? I purchased it from the Paddington store, Sydney.
What did you especially like about your gown? I LOVED the bottom of my gown, but the whole thing felt so comfortable. It didn’t have any particular detail on it, but that is what I loved as it suited me and my personality so well.
Who is your bridesmaid dress supplier? White runway
Where did you get the groom and groomsmen’s suits? Peter Jackson
Where did you get your shoes from? Wanted shoes

What advice would you give brides organizing their wedding? Just enjoy the day! Everything always works out. I can honestly say I hardly stressed at all in the lead up to the wedding and everything was perfect! The lead up can become overwhelming as you are always thinking if you forgot anything or need all of these things, when really what does it matter? As long as you are marrying the person you want to spend your life with, everything else will work out perfectly!
What advice would you give brides searching for their wedding gown? Go with what makes you comfortable and makes you feel most like you ... but a more beautiful version!!

Something Blue? My Mum’s ring with a blue sapphire stone.
