How did you meet your (now) husband? We met at a “Beautiful Girls” concert in Melbourne.
How long have you been together? 6 years
Do you have a proposal story? I was away for a few days and ended up last minute coming home on the Saturday afternoon. I had dropped into a deli and picked up lots of cheeses and some nice wine and thought we could go for a picnic when I got back. We were sitting in beautiful Yarrawonga on the foreshore and he leant over with a box and asked me. I was in complete shock!!! He totally jumped in on my picnic idea. Very opportunistic. Found out later he had had the ring for 3 months in our house!

The Wedding Details
Theme? I didnt really have a theme. The reception was in an old tobacco shed next to my parents farm. (My dad was a tobacco grower) so we wanted to make sure we created a really brightly lit room with lots of flowers.
Were any aspects of your wedding D.I.Y? If so What? Not a huge amount was DIY- we used a lot of our local businesses.
The bomboniere were home made olive oil (my dads) and succulent jars (my mother in law made)
What advice would you give brides organizing their wedding? Take the time to enjoy it. Goes so quickly. My husband and I made sure we stopped a few times away from our guests every couple of hours and just look and say “wow”!
