How did you meet your partner? I first met Sam at a youth camp.
How long have you been together? 1 ½ years
Do you have a proposal story? Do I ever! It was my 21st birthday and little did I know what he had in mind. Unbeknownst to me, he had asked my dad if he could marry me and was secretly planning a trip to Paris. It was the day after my birthday party and we were heading down to Sydney to have dinner with my sister in law and her husband, Kelly and Paul. After dinner, I thought we were heading back to Kelly and Paul’s however, Paul pulled into the international airport in Sydney! I was in the back seat with Sam and he gave me an envelope and told me to open it, in the confusion I didn’t understand what I was reading but in my hand was the itinerary for our flights to Paris! Somehow he had managed to organise my leave from work and my luggage all without me suspecting a thing. We had been in Paris for a week when he asked if I would like to go shopping and buy an outfit for dinner. Sam had mentioned to me on the way, that we may be able to see the Eiffel Tower from the restaurant, little did I know till we arrived that he had a reservation at 58 Tour Eiffel. After our main meal we went out onto the balcony to look at the view. Sam asked me to turn around to take a picture, I wondered why he wanted to take a photo of the back of me and when I turned around he was on one knee holding my ring. He asked me to marry him and obviously, I said YES!
