One Fine Day - New York Runway

Off the back of a fantastic Market at ONE FINE DAY BRIDAL MARKET - NEW YORK we were thrilled to be a part of the runway show held last week at the beautiful Sun West Studios.

This Collection is a true reflection of Karen’s 15 years of couture experience and paramount ability to created designs that effortlessly drape over the female body exuding natural elegance and femininity. Each gown carefully considered and every delicate detail thoughtfully placed to best represent the Karen Willis Holmes bride.

We are so excited to share with you a little sneak peek from the night where we showed some of our favourite new styles.

The Lottie gown is up first. Based on our very popular Anya gown, this sequin beauty is sure to inspire. Featuring exquisite beading detail on the bodice, a sweetheart neckline, delicate spaghetti straps and flattering bias cut skirt. Wore above with one of our many detachable trains, which adds a sense of drama to the stylish look.

Aiesha; a delicate tea length gown with appliqué motif bust, unexpected sheer high neck and a barely-there long sleeve.

Next up we have Layne, modern and minimalist this delustered satin bias cut gown features a high neck with intricate embellished collar.  Layne is worn here with the detachable Paige train.

Fontanne - Strong, stunning art deco inspired gown with intricate beaded panels throughout.

Zaria bodice & Grace skirt - This romantic combination gown is perfect for the modern bride looking for a dress that has a little cool. The Zaria art deco inspired beaded bodice is complimented perfectly with our floor length georgette Grace skirt.

Ophelia - This strapless gown has a structured bodice that cinches in at the waist and falls to just above the knee.  The art deco beaded scalloping frames the dress and the soft tulle skirt paired with a sweeping train adds an effortlessly whimsical touch.

Pascale -  This beaded 70's inspired overlay has delicately flared sleeves and a high raw cut neck.  Pascale is worn with a slim fitting nude slip  which creates a subtle contrast of colours, emphasising the beading.

Intricate vintage inspired lace is the key feature of this gorgeous statement gown.  The Rosemary is an overlay featuring an illusion centre front and centre back necklines with cap sleeves.

Odette - This dreamy ballgown is a dramatic statement with the full tulle skirt and appliqué lace bodice.  The gown is worn with the matching lace cape which adds a whimsical and romantic touch to this gown.

** Full collection will be in stores early 2017.
