Oscars 2017 Red Carpet Round-Up

So, our favourite Tinseltown event took place last night- The 89th Annual Acadamy Awards.  At the Karen Willis Holmes HQ, we look for absolutely any excuse to gush over amazing fashion & the extraordinary opulence of the Oscars is one we raced into work for yesterday! Modesty saw a comeback- with beautiful full skirts and high, Victorian-era necklines teamed with long sleeves.  Rich fire engine reds took centre stage, but it was the subdued neutrals and glowing golds that stuck a cord with us.  We are obsessing over the iridescent shine of embellishments, beading, and fringing paired back with demure silhouettes.

For brides getting married in 2017, take note as some of the key looks displayed at the Oscars are sure to influence Bridal trends this year.  The emphasis on unfussy style was the key message and below are our selection of Best Dressed celebrities from the night who stole the show.

Isabelle Huppert in Armani Prive

Naomie Harris in Custom Calvin Klein

Darby Stanchfield in Georges Chakra

Hailee Steinfeld in Ralph & Russo

Chrissy Teigen in Zuhair Murad Couture

Karlie Kloss wore this simple, asymmetrical Stella McCartney gown
