With a first dance to Peaches and Herb classic ‘Shake Your Groove Thing’, it is undeniable that Tess and John’s wine country wedding was a day full of fun and a true reflection of this couple.
On the proposal
After almost 10 years together, Tess and John were engaged in Queenstown, New Zealand in July 2017.
On the venue
The couple were married at K1 winery in the beautiful South Australian wine region. “We chose to get married down here as John’s father grew up on a farm nearby and the family have been visiting the area ever since – it’s become a very special place to us both.”
All the styling details
Tess and John’s wedding was classic and minimal in styling, with an emphasis placed on rich greenery and beautiful Australian flowers in berry tones. The reception space with its long communal tables perfectly created a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Tess wore the 'Taryn/Camille' gown from our Wild Hearts collection from our boutique in Alexandria - Sydney.
“It was elegant and classic but with this modern edge about it.”
A pair of molten earrings and a veil from Etsy were flawlessly paired with Robert and Robert shoes to create Tess’ bridal look.
