TREND | The Classic Wedding gown

TREND | The Classic Wedding gown

The style of wedding gown that Meghan wore was nothing exceptionally new - a classic shape and bateau neckline cut in a double silk cady with long sleeves. The detail was in the extraordinary cut of the gown and we fell in love the moment we saw her in the car. This shape is something that has been on the rise recently and was without a doubt one of the most elegant, minimal bridal designs in Royal history. Clare Waight Keller gave a nod to the history of Givenchy as well as celebrating the birth of the Modern Princess.

Everything the new Duchess of Sussex touches turns to gold so, with her immaculate sense of style, this trend will not be dying off any time soon. Classic lasts forever - there is no time or year defining it and it is a style KWH blends seamlessly with a fashion-forward wedding gown. We also thought her reception gown by Stella McCartney was next level. It again was classic, elegant and showed off her figure beautifully.
